Firebase services
When Firebase services are enabled, they may provide app infrastructure, configuration, messaging, analytics, or reliability functions and may receive device, app, usage, or installation information needed for those functions.
A clear guide to the information that may be handled when you use Fat Cat VPN, why it may be needed, and the choices available to you.
Fat Cat VPN respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected through the Fat Cat VPN application, how that information may be used or disclosed, how long it may be kept, and the choices available to you.
This policy applies to the Fat Cat VPN app. It does not automatically cover websites, products, or services operated by other companies, even when the app links to them.
The app’s actual behavior, this policy, and the information shown in its public privacy disclosures are intended to describe the same data practices. If these disclosures differ, please contact us so we can review and correct them.
Information you choose to send is separate from information collected automatically by the app. Depending on how you interact with Fat Cat VPN, you may provide:
Please avoid including sensitive personal information in support requests unless it is necessary for us to help you.
When you install, open, or use Fat Cat VPN, the app or its service providers may automatically process certain technical information. The exact fields depend on the final app build and enabled services.
This may include device model, manufacturer, operating-system version, app version, language, time zone, network type, IP address, and identifiers made available by the device or enabled service providers.
This may include app launches, session timing, screens viewed, feature interactions, connection events, and performance measurements.
If crash reporting is enabled in the app version you use, crash reports may include the time of a crash, stack traces, app state, device and operating-system details, and identifiers used to group or diagnose failures.
Diagnostic information may include error codes, latency, connection success or failure, server response information, battery or memory use, and other technical signals needed to maintain reliability. The information handled can vary by app version and by the features you use.
Information handled through Fat Cat VPN may be used to:
Fat Cat VPN may disclose information only in circumstances that match its actual operations and public privacy disclosures. Potential recipients may include:
Information is shared only when needed for the applicable purpose, subject to contractual, legal, and security safeguards where appropriate. Fat Cat VPN does not treat information disclosed to a processor acting on its instructions in the same way as an independent third party using information for its own purposes.
Third-party SDKs and service providers can process information under their own terms and privacy notices. The services available in a particular version of Fat Cat VPN may depend on its configuration, your region, and the features you use.
When Firebase services are enabled, they may provide app infrastructure, configuration, messaging, analytics, or reliability functions and may receive device, app, usage, or installation information needed for those functions.
When enabled, Crashlytics may receive crash logs, diagnostic information, device details, app information, and installation identifiers to identify and resolve stability problems.
When enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase may receive app events, device and app information, acquisition data, and identifiers used to measure usage and understand feature performance.
When advertising is enabled, AdMob may process device and app information, IP address, ad interactions, approximate location derived from IP, and an advertising identifier, subject to regional consent requirements and account configuration.
Fat Cat VPN may rely on hosting, network infrastructure, customer-support, security, and fraud-prevention providers. These providers may process only the information needed to deliver their contracted functions.
If the version of Fat Cat VPN you use displays advertising, advertising providers may process device information, IP address, app interactions, approximate location derived from IP, and advertising identifiers, depending on the configuration and your settings.
Where required, the app will request consent before using information for personalized advertising. Available controls may include choosing non-personalized advertising, changing consent preferences, or limiting the advertising identifier through device settings.
If analytics is enabled, analytics providers may measure app launches, sessions, feature use, acquisition sources, and technical performance. Analytics data is used to understand app operation and improve features rather than to determine the content of your network activity.
Your device settings may allow you to reset or limit use of the advertising identifier. Those settings do not necessarily stop all measurement or contextual advertising.
Fat Cat VPN uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information it handles. These measures may include encrypted transmission, access controls, restricted access to operational systems, credential protection, monitoring, and procedures for responding to security incidents.
Information may be stored on systems operated by Fat Cat VPN or its service providers in the locations where those providers maintain facilities. No app, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Personal information should be kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the app, resolving support issues, maintaining security, meeting legal obligations, and handling disputes.
Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. Support correspondence is retained while the request is active and for a reasonable period afterward, while usage, crash, and diagnostic data is retained according to the settings of the applicable service provider or until it is no longer needed for analysis and reliability.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymized, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable requirements. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is required by law.
You may request deletion by emailing privacy@springapp.live. We may need enough information to verify and process the request. Deleting information may not remove records that must be retained for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Fat Cat VPN is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact privacy@springapp.live so the situation can be reviewed and appropriate action taken, including deletion where required.
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to ask whether Fat Cat VPN holds personal data about you and to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy. You may also have the right to withdraw consent when processing is based on consent and to complain to a privacy regulator.
To ask a question, correct information, or request access to or deletion of personal data, email privacy@springapp.live. Please describe your request clearly. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or locate relevant records, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
You may also control certain app permissions and advertising preferences through your device settings, or stop future app-level collection by uninstalling Fat Cat VPN. These actions may not delete information already retained.
Fat Cat VPN and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy laws and government-access rules may differ across those locations.
Where required, international transfers are supported by legally recognized safeguards or another valid transfer mechanism. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards applicable to your information.
This policy may be updated when Fat Cat VPN changes its features, data practices, service providers, or legal obligations. The revised policy will display a new effective date. If a change is material, Fat Cat VPN may provide an additional notice in the app or through another appropriate channel.
You should review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after an update does not override any consent or notice rights provided by applicable law.
